1. This is the first image of my story board, I have chosen to start off with my artist laying on the grass on what I plan to be a sunny day. The camera will be looking down on the artist, creating a birds eye view. This part of the video will be lip synced, until 0.22 seconds.
2. The artist will then slowly stand up, a tracking angle will be used in order to show the audience she is standing up. I will then have an extreme close up once she has stood up of her toes, followed by a close up of her nose. This will link the lyrics with the actions very well and as I said I needed to do in my audience research, it will make it clear for my audience to understand.
3. The camera will then cut to the artist standing at a window, the artist will be looking out at the rain singing the lyrics about the rain, this will again link the lyrics with the actions. The camera will then show a long shot of the artist looking out of the window, whilst she has got her back to the camera.
4. There will be another cut to the artist watching her boyfriend walk away. During this part of the song, I am going to use quite a few cuts as the music has sped up, therefore the pace of the cuts and images need to speed up.
5. Having cut to the artist sitting on the grass, the camera will slowly zoom in on the artist to create an extreme close up from 1.14 seconds to 1.32 seconds. Having the artist on the grass, in the sun will create a warm feeling about the video, reflecting the lyrics of the song.
6. The chorus is sung again, therefore I am going to repeat the close ups like in number 2. This will create continuity, however I am only going to repeat this once as otherwise my audience will get bored of the video.
7. This part of the song has a lot of humming and not many lyrics, therefore I am going to get the artist to look at texts from him on her phone and the audience can see how happy she is.
8. While she sings the last few lines of the song until 2.33 seconds, she is going to be laying on the grass again and there will be another birds eye view of her, this will create continuity and show the audience that the video is finishing as this is how it started.
